Born in Southern Italy in a small, rustic town known as Pizzoni, we were always surrounded by family and neighbours. The food in our home was always produced, hand picked and cooked from our farms, which were cultivated by my parents and older siblings.
The Calabrian way is a selection of authentic southern Italian recipes which my mother and sisters have been cooking from memory since I was at a very young age. We settled in our village and each day walked far, out of town, to our farms where we worked day and night. This is where my inspiration first began in creating Italian style foods.
My passion within the Hospitality Industry originated back in 2005, when I first started in business of operating a Cafe.
The Hungry Italian is a new adventure for me where we aim to provide prompt service with the ease of drive-through or a quick stopover, enjoying the most awarded coffee to date, with Italian Street Food weekly specials for you to take home and enjoy, experiencing the tastes of traditional meals from our Southern Region.
